7-inch TFT video module in 16:9 format with brightness of 1000 cd/m² and LED backlight

Ideally suited for displaying in video applications exposed to extreme ambient light conditions:
Milton Keynes (UK) – Gleichmann Sunrise presents for the first time a new 7-inch TFT video module HV7011A1 from Hexa-Chain in Hall 9, Stand 235 at embedded world 2009. The display is equipped with LED backlight and features brightness in excess of 1000 cd/m² over the screen surface.

The high brightness and a contrast ratio of 600:1 make this TFT module, in 16:9 format with composite interface, ideal for displaying in video applications exposed to extreme ambient light conditions; for example in automobiles or display windows. The use in such, often also climatically difficult, fields of application is supported by an extended operating temperature range from -30°C to + 80°C. The module requires an operating voltage of 12 V.

A small keyboard PCB with integrated control LED, provided with the module, helps to extremely easily control OSD (on‑screen display) settings and also makes the HV7011A1 an instantly operational plug-and-play solution for both mobile and stationary use.
